About this exhibition.

“Born of Her” is an exhibition and benefit organized by the Wright N.A.O. Art Foundation in support of the Maternal Health Fund at Penn State Health. Centered on the lived experiences of Black mothers and birthing people, the exhibition reflects on the themes of creation, care, and continuity through the lens of contemporary artists of the African diaspora.

The exhibition serves as both a space for reflection and a call to action—affirming that art can be a catalyst for visibility, healing, and change.
